Day, 27, is in a coma ina very critical illness after enduring a severe brain injury.
He had been taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital after a 10th-round knockout from the super-welterweight fight.

I can not stop thinking about it all myself. I lose many tears because I could imagine my family and friends would believe and prayed for you a lot of times.

I thought of quitting boxing but I know that is not exactly what youd want.
I know that youre a fighter at heart, and so I chose not to, and also to struggle and win a domain because that is what you wanted and thats what I want so I will use you as inspiration daily and be sure I leave it all in the ring every moment.
